The Sticker Lounge, LLC ("The Sticker Lounge," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit thestickerlounge.vip, request a quote, upload artwork, place or receive an order, communicate with us, attend an event, or otherwise use our services.
This Policy does not apply to a third-party website or service that has its own privacy policy.
Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and identity information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.
- Order and commercial information, such as products requested or purchased, quantities, pricing, proofs, approvals, shipping status, payment status, order history, and customer-service records.
- Artwork and other content, such as logos, designs, images, documents, file metadata, instructions, and other material you submit for quoting, proofing, printing, or support.
- Payment information. Payment providers process card and other payment details. We generally receive transaction status and limited payment-related details rather than your complete payment-card number.
- Communications and preferences, including emails, quote requests, feedback, reviews, marketing preferences, and records of your interactions with us.
- Device, network, and website-activity information, such as IP address, browser and device type, cookie or advertising identifiers, pages viewed, searches, referring pages, approximate location inferred from IP address, and interactions with our website, advertisements, and emails.
- Security and fraud-prevention information, such as signals used to authenticate activity, prevent abuse, and protect transactions.
- Other information you voluntarily provide.
Please do not send government identification numbers, account passwords, complete payment-card numbers, health information, or other sensitive information in artwork, order notes, or ordinary email unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method.
How We Collect Information
We collect information:
- directly from you when you order, request a quote, upload artwork, contact us, subscribe, or otherwise provide it;
- automatically through cookies, pixels, logs, and similar technologies;
- from service providers involved in ecommerce, payments, shipping, analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, communications, and order administration; and
- from public sources or platforms when you choose to interact with us publicly, such as by posting a review or social-media comment.
How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- prepare quotes, proofs, invoices, and orders;
- produce, package, ship, deliver, and support products;
- communicate about artwork, approvals, payments, fulfillment, delivery, service issues, and review requests;
- provide customer service and maintain customer relationships;
- organize internal production tasks, correspondence, and follow-up;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, products, and services;
- measure website and advertising performance, personalize experiences, and market our services, subject to your choices and applicable law;
- detect and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; comply with law; and enforce our agreements; and
- carry out another purpose that we describe when collecting the information or that you authorize.
AI-Assisted Customer Service and Workflow Tools
We use artificial-intelligence-assisted tools, including services provided by OpenAI (such as ChatGPT), to help analyze and categorize customer communications, summarize order information, prepare draft replies, organize follow-up, and support internal business workflows. Information processed for these purposes may include customer names and contact details, correspondence, order information, and limited artwork-related context.
AI-assisted output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Customer-facing email drafts are reviewed and approved by a person before they are sent. We do not use AI to make decisions about customers that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We seek to limit information provided to these tools to what is reasonably necessary and do not intentionally provide complete payment-card data, account passwords, or government identification numbers.
For more information about OpenAI's practices and controls, see the OpenAI U.S. Privacy Policy.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following recipients for the purposes described above:
- Ecommerce and hosting providers, including Shopify, which hosts our store and supports checkout, accounts, analytics, fraud prevention, and related services.
- Payment providers and financial institutions, which process payments, refunds, disputes, and fraud checks.
- Communications and productivity providers, including Google services such as Gmail, and email-signature or related communication services.
- AI and workflow providers, including OpenAI/ChatGPT and Atlassian/Trello, which help us prepare drafts, categorize communications, and organize production and customer-service tasks.
- Artwork-upload and store-app providers, including Cloudlift/Upload-Lift and other Shopify applications that support file uploads, promotions, galleries, and storefront functions.
- Shipping and delivery providers, such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers used to deliver orders or investigate delivery issues.
- Analytics and advertising providers, including Google, Meta, Shopify, and their partners, which help measure traffic, understand conversions, and deliver or evaluate advertising.
- Professional advisers and authorities, such as accountants, insurers, lawyers, regulators, courts, and law enforcement when reasonably necessary or legally required.
- Transaction participants, in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Service providers process information under their own contracts, terms, and privacy practices. We do not authorize them to use customer information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us, except where independently permitted by law.
Shopify and Enhanced Services
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our store so that it can provide ecommerce, payment, security, analytics, personalization, and other services to us and to you. Depending on our Shopify settings and the services enabled, Shopify may use information from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to provide enhanced services. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also use the Shopify Privacy Portal for certain choices concerning Shopify's processing.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for:
- Strictly necessary purposes, such as checkout, security, account access, and site functionality;
- Functional purposes, such as remembering preferences and improving features;
- Analytics, such as understanding visits, interactions, and conversions; and
- Advertising, such as measuring campaigns and showing ads that may be based on activity across websites or services.
You can manage available choices through the Cookie Preferences control in our website footer or cookie banner. Your browser may also let you block cookies, although doing so can affect site functionality.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. However, our disclosure of identifiers, device information, and website activity to advertising and analytics partners may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state privacy laws.
Where required, you may opt out through our Your Privacy Choices page. We also recognize Global Privacy Control signals where required and supported. If the link is unavailable, email us at orders@thestickerlounge.vip with the subject "Privacy Opt-Out."
We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of people under 18.
Email, Review Requests, and Marketing Choices
We send transactional and relationship messages about quotes, orders, proofs, payments, shipping, and customer support. We may also ask for honest feedback or a review after an order and may send marketing messages where permitted.
You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in the message or by contacting us. You may separately ask us not to send review requests by replying to a review-request email or emailing orders@thestickerlounge.vip. Opting out of promotional or review-request messages does not prevent necessary service and transaction communications.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including completing orders, supporting reorders, maintaining business and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements, and complying with law. The period varies based on the information, its sensitivity, the reason we collected it, and legal or operational requirements.
Artwork and production files may be retained for fulfillment, quality control, or convenient reordering unless deletion is requested and no legal or operational exception applies. Our upload provider states that ordinary uploaded files are generally deleted after 30 days, while archived or order-associated files may be retained until deleted. Other providers retain information according to their own terms and settings. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system, storage method, or transmission over the internet or email is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- request access to or a copy of personal information we maintain about you;
- request correction or deletion;
- request information about categories of personal information collected, used, or disclosed;
- opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and
- exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination.
To submit a request, email orders@thestickerlounge.vip with the subject "Privacy Request." Describe your request and the email address or order information needed to locate your records. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the subject "Privacy Appeal."
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
International Processing
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
